FMs From Around the World Reunited in Minneapolis for IFMA’s 30th Annual World Workplace

IFMA GLOBAL HQ – (27 October 2025) – IFMA HQ USA — The facility management (FM) world gathered in force as nearly 4,000 professionals from across the globe came together in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, for World Workplace® 2025, marking the event’s 30th year and celebrating the 45th anniversary of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).

 

From headline keynotes — Daymond John, FUBU founder and "Shark Tank" investor, and David Eagleman, host of the number-one science podcast "Inner Cosmos,” and transformative educational sessions to career-defining recognitions and high-energy networking events, the conference underscored the power of FM to lead change in the built environment, while also setting the tone for the future.

This year’s conference honored outstanding individuals advancing FM, including the induction of Laurie Gilmer, Benjamin Goudy and Frank Ngoh as IFMA Fellows — the association’s highest honor. Recipients of IFMA’s Awards of Excellence were also recognized for advancing knowledge, demonstrating volunteer leadership and driving professional growth across the industry.

 

With eyes on the future, IFMA is already gearing up for World Workplace 2026, taking place 18-20 Nov. 2026, in Anaheim, California, USA.
