This document is the London Borough of Tower Hamlets’ Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on ‘Reuse, Recycling and Waste’ (RRW). The SPD was adopted by the council on 28th July 2020. The SPD sets out information for developers on how waste management should be addressed in proposals for new residential (including mixed use) development.1 The SPD has been produced to help developers submit a planning application that meets the policy requirements of the council. The principles in the SPD may also be applied to wholly commercial development and when existing development is refurbished.

The NEBB Learning Center (NLC)
The NEBB Learning Center (NLC) is the central place for online learning for NEBB disciplines. This online learning/training center includes all types of educational content with interactive features. Key features of the NLC include a Courses page, Learner Checklist, Media Library, and a Community Section.
One of the benefits of the NLC is that learners can earn NEBB approved CECs and NEBB has also been approved as an AIA provider so some courses also will earn you an AIA LU. Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operations lays a foundation for individuals to pursue an advanced career pathway focused on energy efficient building operations. The course includes seven parts that can be delivered over three full-day classes when delivered in person, and has been adapted to six half-day classes for virtual delivery. The total time commitment for this course is 18 hours.
To earn a Level I Training Certificate of Completion, participants must attend seven classes, complete class tests and assigned projects for a total of 74 hours, or 7.4 CEU’s.
