Gain premier professional status with RICS

Oct 03, 2017

“RICS is a well-recognised standard globally.”
Graeme Bishop MRICS, Global Account Director, ISS

In an increasingly competitive global FM industry, RICS status is recognized around the world as a demonstration of proven professionalism, standards and ethics. By combining your CFM credential with another globally recognized professional qualification you will be extending your reach and benefit from holding elite status in FM and real estate. And importantly you’ll have a higher earnings potential - an RICS professional earns over $16k a year over non RICS professionals.

Five benefits of RICS:

  1. Status – In addition to being a highly qualified CFM, with a chartered FM qualification (MRICS) you can promote your trusted and regulated status to clients, peers and employers as the brand promises consistent professional excellence
  2. Recognition – As a global qualification, RICS offers you enhanced status in your country through the broader reach and recognition of the professional status in the industry internationally
  3. Market advantage – Holding both CFM and an RICS qualification makes you twice as marketable; FM knowledge and the property professional status of RICS offers you wider or integrated career opportunities and an additional $16k a year in salary
  4. Knowledge – Free access to international practice guidance and knowledge resources for the wider construction and real estate sector
  5. Networking – Connecting to 125,000 professionals working across the whole property life cycle offers you valuable links and career opportunity in the wider built environment

“At an individual and a corporate level, RICS has helped us develop both professional excellence and leadership capability that can really make a difference for our clients.”
Bruce Melizan FRICS, Executive Director – Interserve
