Lorena Espada

Lorena Espada holds over 17 years of experience as a facility management professional in diverse sectors such as Retail, Financial and Telco. Lorena holds a master’s degree in Facility Management by the University of La Rioja and is a certified professional coach by the European Coaching Institute.

As the EMEA regional Head of Facility Management at Chubb Insurance company, she manages over 50 facilities in 24 different countries cross the region, leading a team responsible for hard and soft services, in additional to leading the Health and Safety program for the region.

Lorena´s areas of specialty include portfolio management, office optimization and consolidation, integrated workplace design, contract negotiation and resource management and planning. Additionally, her passion for change management and people leadership in the FM industry, has allowed her to be a collaborating teacher at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, as part of their master’s degree in Facility Management, where she teaches on Mobility Plans, Change Management and People Management in FM.

Since joining IFMA in 2009, she has actively participated as part of the IFMA Spanish Chapter taking responsibility for the women in FM group from 2011 until 2016 and joining the Spain Chapter Board of Directors in 2012. She has since also led several local work groups just as the FM Mentoring Group, from 2015 to 2017 and the Workplace work group until 2021. Elected Vice-President for the 2-year term of office from 2017 to 2019, Lorena was IFMA´s Spain Chapter President for the term 2019-2021.
