IFMA’s Knowledge Library invites you to submit your original content for publication! Gain access to a wide audience of FM readers, position yourself as a thought leader and help grow the practice of facility management.

Content Types


Scholarly publications addressing a specific research-based question through a single viewpoint.


An audio presentation introducing a process or technique that solves a specific FM-related problem through fact sharing and/or panel-based discourse.


A standard is a document that provides requirements, specifications, guidelines or characteristics that can be used consistently to ensure that materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose.


A template is a formatted document that provides a basis by which specific activities should be performed. Examples of this are Scope of Work documents, checklists, or contracts.  ​


Companion pieces are described as content groupings across all subject matters that serve to complement each other. For instance, an article or blog post created to accompany a webinar.

How do I submit?

The following information is required for submitting original works to the Knowledge Library. Please review the complete Submission Guidelines before submitting content.

All submitted documents should contain the following:

  • Title page with authors and a description/abstract
  • Primary competency as defined by IFMA's 11 Core Competencies
  • Relevant keywords and industry
