World FM Day is a Global FM initiative to celebrate the importance of the FM profession. It aims at raising the FM profession profile around the globe, promoting facilities management’s ideals, not only within the profession and industry, but also among governments and the general business community.
IFMA is hosting an engaging World FM Day conversation on Twitter featuring a variety of questions and discussion topics related to facility management worldwide.

IFMA headquarters celebration
Headquarters will gather for a lunch in which they will compete to "build" the best building out of Legos. Facility managers from the IFMA headquarters building and members of the Houston Chapter of IFMA will serve as judges and are invited to the festivities. In addition, World FM Day posters and signs will be displayed in prominent spots of the building in order for other tenants to be aware of the importance of the day.
Get your colleagues invloved in the IFMA World FM Day Twitter Q&A event AND celebrate World FM Day in a unique way—making it a company or department celebration. Participate by mapping your facility, posting tweets, photos and/or videos of how you are celebrating.
