Corporate Facility Monitor Study on Security Practices after September 11

The following study was conducted in February 2002. More than 2,700 IFMA's North American members received this survey electronically. After seven days, 466 responses were received and tallied for a 17% response rate.

The margin of error at the 95% confidence interval for these questions is between + 3 and + 4 percentage points. This means that for a given statistic, the chances are 95 in 100 that a survey result does not vary, plus or minus, by more than 3% or 4% from the results that would have been obtained if interviews had been conducted with all persons in the universe represented by this sample.
