Oct. 01, 2018

IFMA has announced Jenny Yeung, CFM, CEnv., MRICS, MSOE, is taking up the Asia-Pacific Regional Board position vacated by Dave Hallam, MRICS, who upon completion of his two-year term has assumed the Hong Kong board role for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

“Jenny Yeung is a fantastic choice to fill this role for IFMA in the APAC region,” said Graham Tier, CFM, FMP, MRICS, who serves both as chair of IFMA’s global board of directors and the liaison to the Asia-Pacific Regional Board. “Dave Hallam’s service has been exemplary and his new role with RICS will only serve to strengthen the IFMA-RICS collaboration in the region.”

IFMA’s regional boards provide location-based advice and input into the strategic direction of the global association. The Asia-Pacific Regional Board covers Asia and Oceania including India.

Yeung serves as an Asset Manager in an American multinational investment bank and financial services corporation and has served as president of IFMA’s Hong Kong Chapter. She’s also been involved in IFMA’s Environmental Stewardship, Utilities and Sustainability Strategic Advisory Group (ESUS SAG) as a representative for Asia since 2015.

Yeung chaired the World Workplace Asia 2011 Conference and Expo, Integrate 2012 Facility Management Conference, and Moving into the Frontier Facility Management Conference 2014. In 2015, Jenny also coordinated IFMA and LGEES (Leadership in Green Environment and Energy Saving – a green consortium) to host the first Green Seminar for the Hong Kong Chapter, which subsequently developed into IFMA’s Sustainability Workshops. Yeung has earned or led teams that earned sustainability awards including Green Enterprise of the Year, the Hong Kong Gold Award of Environmental Excellence in the financial sector, IFMA’s Asia-Pacific Best Managed Sustainability Program Award and the Environmental Performance Award of RFP – Outstanding Individuals in Industry Awards.
