IFMA has released the November/December 2015 issue of its official magazine, FMJ. Themed "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Renew," this issue gives FMs a blueprint — or, rather, a "greenprint" — for facility optimization. The cover feature outlines how facility managers can create a sustainable future by incorporating biomimicry techniques and products. Additional topical articles go beyond sustainability to cover building efficiency, case studies on reducing environmental impact, commissioning, green pest management, indoor air quality, corporate social responsibility and more.
Of note to IFMA members, this issue also includes a tribute to founding member George Graves, interviews with the association's September and October Members of the Month, and contributions by IFMA's Facility Management Consultants Council (FMCC) and Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability Strategic Advisory Group.
