    IFMA names Don Gilpin as Chief Operating Officer

    IFMA has named Don Gilpin as Chief Operating Officer (COO) beginning the week of Sept. 17, 2018. Gilpin has served as IFMA’s interim COO since Feb. 5. Gilpin is an accomplished executive with strong experience in international association management, trade show production, education/certification programs, legislative advocacy and workforce development. Prior to joining IFMA, Gilpin served as the Executive Director and COO at the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) located in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. While at CEDIA, he was instrumental in the formation of two industry organizations for the electronic systems industry, The Electronic Systems Professional Alliance (ESPA) and the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) trade show and served as chairman of the board for both organizations.

    IFMA’s World Workplace Europe meets Facility for Future in Amsterdam

    IFMA and its alliance partner Facility Management Netherlands (FMN) have announced that the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam will be the venue of Facility for Future and IFMA’s World Workplace Europe Conference and Expo, 20-22 March 2019. IFMA and FMN are joining forces with the Facility for Future annual conference for a unique combination of these two events. FMN is the Dutch professional association for the facility sector while IFMA represents the global facility community.

    IFMA announces high-octane slate of keynote speakers for World Workplace Conference and Expo in Charlotte

    IFMA has named three keynote speakers for the first time at its World Workplace Conference and Expo. NASCAR icon and philanthropist Kyle Petty will deliver the opening keynote and former White House CIO and cybersecurity expert Theresa Payton will present the awards luncheon closing keynote. Delivering the first plenary session keynote is Scott Breor, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
