Recognized Certificate Programs
The following institutions offer certificate programs in facility management.  The primary purpose of this prgram is to let potential students, employers and others with an interest in facility management education know which programs have been set apart by taking the steps needed to become recognized.

George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, offers the Professional Certificate in Facility Management through the Office of Continuing Professional Education.

University of California, Berkeley Extension, Berkeley, California, offers the Certificate in Facilities Management through the Continuing Education, University Extension.

University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, offers two online certificate programs, Certificate Program in Facility Management: Principles and Certificate Program in Facility Management: Practices through the University of Washington Extension Department.
