ENERGY STAR and the IFMA Challenge: Saving Energy in Your Facilities

Mar 25, 2010 / 12:00 PM CST / 90

IFMA has partnered with ENERGY STAR to help the FM community improve building energy performance in our existing facilities. By measuring performance in a consistent manner, benchmarking energy and utility use, sharing and implementing efficiency measures and best practices, IFMA and ENERGY STAR can help you save money; reduce greenhouse gas emissions; improve facility performance; and qualify your facility for tax incentives, rebates, and prepare for mandatory energy reporting initiatives. In this webinar, learn how you can become part of the community of IFMA FMs who are working to jointly save energy, save money, and improve performance.

Objectives:

Understand how to use the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Program to benchmark your facility.
Develop tools for long-term strategic energy planning.
Learn how to connect with IFMA peers to share data and to improve benchmarking.
