  1. Practice
  2. Continuing Education
  3. Professional Involvement
  4. Development of the Profession
“The CFM designation not only strengthens my confidence in performing daily tasks, but also encourages our facility department to promote the recognition of trade standards in the field of property maintenance and facility management.”

- Hackman Hon Yin Lee, CFM, Chief Engineer of the Hong Kong Football Club, Hong Kong, China

A list of point earning activities in each of these areas is sent to each new CFM and is included in the list below.

To maintain their credential CFMs submit a list of the activities they performed along with the appropriate supporting documentation. They also submit a processing fee of $200 (U.S. dollars) for members and $250 (U.S. dollars) for non-members. Payment can be made by credit card by enclosing the type of card, account number and expiration date with the package.

Maintenance packages must be received before three months after each CFMs expiration date to be considered on time. Packages received three months and one day to six months after the expiration date will also need to include a late fee of $100 (U.S. dollars).
