May 13, 2009 || 8:00 a.m. – noon
Prepare to protect people, place and process – mitigate panic and ensure business continuity in IFMA’s NEW pandemic workshop, developed specifically for FMs.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2009, the World Health Organization raised its pandemic alert to level 5, warning of widespread infection from the swine flu outbreak. In response to this global public health emergency, IFMA will offer a new pandemic workshop at the upcoming Spring Symposium, held May 12-15 in Charlotte, N.C.
“Pandemics: Preparation Today Keeps the Panic Away” is a four-hour workshop geared toward helping facility managers plan for and respond to a potentially serious health threat. Led by business continuity and emergency response expert, Stephen Craig, the seminar will feature a presentation followed by a facilitated workshop providing you with practical objectives, tools and checklists.
Facility professionals who are responsible for crisis planning and emergency preparedness and response are encouraged to participate in this workshop. The information obtained will assist you in protecting your organization and keeping the level of panic to a minimum.
