IFMA is dedicated to providing resources and information facility professionals need to ensure the readiness and safety of the facilities they build, manage or design. The need to plan and prepare has become a fact of life. The built environment is constantly buffeted by external changes and threats—whether from natural disasters or the man-made political and economic upheaval.

When IFMA’s Emergency Preparedness workshop debuted in 2001, it quickly became one of IFMA’s most sought-after courses. Recently updated and expanded, the new workshop will assist you in assessing your facility for potential internal and external risk factors, and in developing a preparedness and recovery plan of your own.
