Edward J. Hamer, CFM, FMA, is the Director of Facilities Services at The Madeira School in McLean, VA, has worked in the same capacity at Durham Academy in Durham, NC, and as a Facility Manager at the University of Pittsburgh from which he graduated from with a B.S. in Business. He holds memberships in APPA, and IFMA and graduated from the APPA Institute. He has 29 years of experience in facilities management and has been responsible for all aspects of facilities management including, Administrative Services, Security, Operations and Maintenance, Project Management, and Human Resource Management. He holds a CFM from IFMA, an FMA from BOMI and is an approved instructor for IFMA, BOMI, and George Mason University.

Case Runolfson, CFM has worked in widely diverse work environments in the U.S. and internationally in the field of facilities management (FM) for over
20 years. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he served as a Marine Officer.

Case joined AIR. in 2005, and has focused on creating a process-centric work environment, emphasizing professional development and implementing succession training for staff and imbuing staff with an employees-as-customers approach to providing FM services. With both senior FM’s and line supervisors in his department of 28 staff, he oversees the leases and operations and maintenance for AIR’s real estate portfolio of nation-wide offices as well as space planning, office support and production services to over 1700 employees.

As a member of IFMA, he is passionate about forging a link between the emerging generation of facilities management professionals and experienced practitioners. He serves on several committees at the national and international level. Case actively promotes internship programs by providing frameworks for success to institutions of higher learning, potential sponsor-companies and FM students. He is the 2014-2015 President for the Capital Chapter of IFMA, in Washington, DC and has maintained the credential of certified facility manager for fourteen years.

Geoff Snavely is the Vice President – General Manager for milliCare by EBC Carpet Services.  He is a Past President for the Capital Chapter of IFMA.  Geoff has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and is a LEED AP.  His company, milliCare by EBC Carpet Services, is heavily involved with 6 IFMA Chapters in the Mid-Atlantic area as members, volunteers, and sponsors.

Corrie Prunuske began her career as an application engineer with no knowledge of the term HVAC. What began as “just a job” after college with the hope to learn something and move on, ultimately served as her platform to launch a highly progressive 20-year career. Today, as VP Operations Americas for Johnson Controls Global Workplace Solutions business unit, Corrie leads a regional team  to daily and strategic operational FM execution success.

Corrie will share insights and tips that move facility management careers forward, based on her own career progression and experiences. Attendees will learn about the importance of taking career risks, seeking and driving career growth opportunities. Corrie will help the audience understand the value and difference between mentors and sponsors. Moving FM careers forward in today’s ever-changing industry demands the ability to adapt to change, an open approach to learning, and an appreciation for how to overcome mistakes.
