Did you start your FMP prior to September 2010?URGENT MESSAGE: IFMA extended the completion date to March 31, 2011, to allow individuals extra time to complete their courses. We are now more than 60 days past the March 31 deadline. If you have not taken steps to finish the FMP under the previous model, please contact IFMA’s education department to discuss your options IMMEDIATELY. IFMA will be moving toward the ANSI accreditation process this fall and CANNOT issue FMP certificates to anyone taking courses through the previous program in the near future. This means you will eventually lose the opportunity to finish under the previous FMP model. Courses taken under the previous model cannot be transferred or rolled over to the new model, so it is critical that you act now. Please either complete the courses under the previous model or make arrangements with IFMA’s education staff to begin the new program.
