About The Community
The Restaurant and Food Service FM Community is for those facility professionals in the restaurants and food services industry. The goal is to provide a network for restaurant and food service facility managers and professionals to share resources, connect with other professionals, benefit from continuing education and advance the facility management profession as it relates to the industry. To facilitate the sharing of resources, IFMA has put in place a new community server platform, which will serve as the hub of the community. This resource allows members to communicate, ask questions, share best practices, and assist one another with industry-specific challenges and solutions. Members are be in control of how they interact with the Web based community – with the web based message system, or email subscription to all or selected topic discussions. Members can go to www.ifmacommunity.org to login. The community offers regular Webinars, round table discussions and panel discussion on topics of importance via Web and teleconference throughout the year, which you can see on the events page. Dues to add this community to your IFMA membership will only be US$25 per year. This is an incredible value to have instant access and connections to FM professionals around the world. The only requirement for attendance is that you are actively employed by an organization in the Restaurant and Food Service industry.
