Workplace Industry:
People involved in the day-to-day facilitation, operation and management of the workplace. Those jobs revolving around ensuring functionality of the workplace (any location in which work is conducted) are included.
Facility:
An environment which is built, installed or established to serve a work-related purpose.
Facility Management:
Facility management is a profession that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology.

IFMA:
IFMA is the largest and most widely recognized professional association for facility management, supporting approximately 20,000 members.
